Learnership Overview

The Visual Merchandising Learnership is a 12-month paid program offered by Pick n Pay Clothing, based in either Johannesburg or Cape Town. Participants will receive a monthly stipend of R3,000 and gain hands-on experience in retail operations and visual merchandising. The program includes accredited training and mentorship from industry professionals.


Eligibility Criteria

To apply, you must:

  • Be a South African citizen aged 18–35
  • Have a Grade 12 certificate with communication and maths literacy at NQF Level 2
  • Be currently unemployed and not enrolled in any studies
  • Be willing and able to commit to a full 12-month program
  • Be available to attend both classroom sessions and in-store training
  • Demonstrate a customer-focused attitude, attention to detail, and good communication skills
  • Be willing to learn and take accountability
