Cash Centre Teller
G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a prominent provider of integrated cash management services, has an opening for a Cash Centre Teller at our East London operations.
This position reports to the Cash Centre Supervisor and entails the accurate counting, balancing, and reconciliation of customer funds in accordance with established cash processing protocols.

Role Responsibility:
Manage the distribution of all cash bags and containers efficiently. Accurately count, balance, pack, and reconcile customer cash.
Oversee the receipt of all bags and containers.
- Distribute bags and containers to various locations.
- Ensure all receipting is completed.
- Confirm that all daily work is processed and cleared in the system.
- Verify the accuracy of information on the bags.
- Comply with all policies and procedures.
Execute daily operational tasks.
- Ensure the secure, timely, and precise processing of customer deposits.
- Assist in preparing customer coin and cash orders.
- Support other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Operate a range of high-speed equipment.
- Track deposits within internal systems.
- Proactively identify discrepancies in customer cash and report them to the Supervisor for resolution to mitigate any customer impact.
- Be prepared to cross-train in various processes to support all Cash Processing services.
Cash/Coin Sorting:
- Verify bulk cash.
- Confirm inbound or outbound coin and cash from corresponding banks and customers.
- Accurately balance transaction totals.
- Reconcile the total funds.
Training and Health and Safety
- Complete all necessary compliance training programs.
- Attend and successfully finish all training specific to your role.
- Follow procedures related to the counting, packing, balancing, reconciliation, and sorting of cash and coins.
- Uphold a position of trust and responsibility.
- Engage in safety forums established by the company.
- Report all safety incidents to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in safety education and refresher courses.
