Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 10
- A minimum of one year of experience in a comparable setting
- Not color blind, and must be medically and physically fit
Primary Duties:
- Installation of cables for electrical reticulation, along with maintenance and construction of electrical service connections.
- Transporting and managing heavy equipment for reticulation, maintenance, and LPU metering installation projects.
- Erecting poles and constructing overhead lines for reticulation maintenance, LPU metering installation, and metering projects.
- Safely operating and maintaining plant machinery, tools, and work sites.
- Performing cleaning, sweeping, painting, and general upkeep tasks.
- Adhering to safety regulations in accordance with the OHS Act.
- Assisting the supervisor in executing work-related tasks.
