Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Foster a welcoming, inspiring, and personalized atmosphere for all customers.
- Enhance sales and revenue by motivating and encouraging team members to meet sales objectives.
- Ensure that visual merchandising standards contribute to an appealing store environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor.
- Effectively manage stock levels, minimize stock losses, and address shrinkage.
- Verify that all products are accurately priced with appropriate price tags and signage.
- Review stock take and cycle count variance reports, investigate discrepancies, and escalate stock shortages or imbalances to the Area Manager.
- Adhere to point of sale and banking procedures, raising any concerns with the Area Manager.
- Comply with all store standards and operational policies and procedures.
- Execute all operational activities within the store effectively.
REQUIREMENTS
- A matriculation certificate, grade 12, or an equivalent qualification.
- A strong enthusiasm for cosmetics, retail, and customer service.
- Familiarity with beauty and skincare products.
- A robust customer service orientation.
- A strong work ethic and a proactive approach.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that meets operational demands.
- Basic proficiency in email and Excel.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure and a pleasant demeanor in high-pressure situations.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to demonstrate and promote products effectively.
- Skill in creating an engaging atmosphere in the store that motivates the team and encourages repeat customer visits.
