Duties & Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
To provide exceptional service by offering professional and informed advice on beauty and skincare products, effectively managing merchandise, and maintaining cleanliness to foster customer loyalty and optimize sales.
Job Objectives:
- To engage with customers, respond to inquiries about products, and guide them in selecting the most suitable products and services for their needs.
- To drive and enhance sales within the beauty department through effective promotion, cross-selling, and up-selling strategies to consistently achieve monthly sales targets.
- To monitor sales performance, regularly assess product effectiveness, and provide recommendations that lead to improved product offerings and increased sales.
- To stay informed about all beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events to ensure accurate information is provided to customers at all times.
- To efficiently manage all operational tasks within the beauty department, including effective stock control, minimizing losses, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and administration.
- To ensure that all visual merchandising, in-store presentation, and promotional standards within the beauty department are consistently upheld.
- To deliver outstanding customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, remaining visible, and providing friendly and professional assistance.
- To promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to meet clubcard participation targets.
- To enhance profitability and foster brand loyalty among customers through the promotion of private label and exclusive products.
- The objective is to position the brand as the preferred health and beauty retailer by embodying and promoting the company’s core values.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential: Grade 12
- Desirable: Relevant qualifications in beauty or skincare
- Desirable: Experience in the beauty, skincare, retail, or FMCG sectors, particularly in sales or marketing
