Introduction

The ideal candidate will exhibit proficiency in providing administrative support, coordinating the activities of Programme Implementation Managers, and overseeing the programme budget of Administrator.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the initiation and planning of programmes
  • Manage programme budget transfers
  • Offer support for programme implementation and quality management
  • Handle purchase order requisitions
  • Process payment requisitions
  • Maintain programme budget information
  • Contribute to the completion and handover of programmes
  • Manage and control petty cash
  • Provide administrative support for programmes
  • Oversee programme information and manage accounts

Competencies

  • Understanding of the Programme Management Cycle
  • Proficiency in Great Plains
  • Skills in Administration Management
  • Knowledge of File Management Systems
  • Familiarity with Cost Control Methodology

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • A minimum of a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Accounting and/or Administration
  • At least 2 years of experience in a development setting, ideally within the financial sector. Proficient in computer applications, particularly spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), MS Word, and database programs, along with financial information analysis skills.
Adminstrator

Applicants are responsible for having any foreign qualifications verified by the South African Qualifications Authority. Key Responsibilities

As a Programme Implementation Administrator in Limpopo, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the implementation of various programs. This includes assisting with planning, monitoring progress, and ensuring all activities are carried out efficiently.

Day-to-Day Duties

Your day-to-day duties will involve organizing meetings, preparing reports, and liaising with different stakeholders. You will also be required to maintain accurate records, handle administrative tasks, and contribute to the overall success of the programs.

2. Qualifications and Skills Required

Educational Background

A degree in a related field such as Public Administration, Development Studies, or Social Sciences is preferred. However, relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.

Relevant Experience

Prior experience in program coordination, project management, or administration is highly desirable. Familiarity with working in the development sector or with non-profit organizations will be advantageous.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, excellent organizational abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Knowledge of data management systems and reporting tools would be beneficial.
